What Offivelle sends, and what it never sends.
Offivelle runs on your computer. Your messages, files, company memory, agents' work, passwords and keys stay there. The only things that leave your computer are:
- what your AI needs: ChatGPT or Claude receive your agents' prompts, as with any use of those services (a local model sends nothing);
- what you connect yourself: email, calendar, Telegram and other apps you link;
- checks for app updates and for the list of local models (plain downloads from this site);
- notifications on your phone, only if you turn them on (see below);
- anonymous usage counts, only if you say yes.
Your phone (off unless you turn it on)
Settings → Phone lets your own phone reach Offivelle:
- On your Wi-Fi: Offivelle also answers on your Mac's home-network address. Nothing leaves your home network.
- Anywhere, with Tailscale: your Mac and phone talk over Tailscale, a private network between your own devices (encrypted end to end; Tailscale's servers only help them find each other).
Notifications: if you turn them on, requests, questions and finished work are sent to your phone through Apple's or Google's push service, the way every phone notification travels. Each one is encrypted on your Mac for that one phone, so the push service can deliver it but not read it.
Anonymous usage counts (off unless you turn them on)
During setup, and in Settings → Privacy, Offivelle asks once whether to send anonymous counts. Until you say yes, nothing is sent. If you say yes, at most once a day it sends exactly this (you can see your own next one before deciding):
{
"v": 1,
"id": "a random id made when you said yes",
"version": "0.2.0",
"app": "desktop",
"os": "mac",
"arch": "arm64",
"brains": ["claude", "codex"],
"agents": "2-5",
"jobs": "3-9"

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
id |
A random number for this install. Not linked to you, your Apple ID or your AI accounts. A new one is made if you turn counts off and on again. |
version, app, os, arch |
Which Offivelle, and Mac/Windows/Linux, Apple silicon or Intel. |
brains |
Which AI your team uses: ChatGPT (codex), Claude, or local. |
agents |
How many agents, in bands: 1, 2–5, 6–20, 21+. |
jobs |
Tasks finished in the last day, in bands: 0, 1–2, 3–9, 10+. |
Never sent: your messages, files, company or people's names, task titles, email addresses, keys, folder paths, or anything your agents read or write.
Why: to know whether Offivelle actually helps — how many companies get work done each week, and whether people come back after a week and a month — and which computers and AIs to support.
Where it goes: a small counter Offivelle runs on Cloudflare. It stores one row per install per day with the fields above and the date. It does not store your IP address, and its request logs are switched off. Rows are deleted after 400 days.
Turning it off: Settings → Privacy. Turning it off also asks the counter to delete everything it received from this install, and forgets the id on your computer.
